Introduction
Hot rolled strip refers to strips and plates produced by hot rolling. Generally, the thickness is 1.2-8mm. Strip steel with a width of less than 600mm is called narrow strip steel, and strip steel with a width of more than 600mm is wide-band steel. The hot-rolled steel strip can be used directly as a hot-rolled steel sheet, or cold-rolled steel can be supplied as a billet. There are four methods for hot-rolled steel strip according to product width and production process: wide-band steel hot-rolling, wide-band steel reversible hot-rolling, narrow-strip hot-rolling, and planetary rolling mill hot-rolling steel. Strip steel materials include plain carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel and silicon steel.
